The 17th Annual G.I. Joe Collectors´ Convention has finally been held in Hasbro´s hometown, Providence, R.I., this weekend. It´s hard to say more than that. All the die-hard toy collectors were there.
Mark Bellomo, who wrote the book "The Ultimate Guide to G.I.Joe 1982-1994" was there. He added to his collection of 30,000 action figures and in his day job works for the State University of New York.
The convention brought in thousands from all over the world. The rage has been recently sparked by the "G.I.Joe" movie which reawakened many old fans and brought in a new generation.
