On Tuesday an earthquake (magnitude 5.1) hit the area of the California-Mexico border 19 miles southwest of Calexo. It is another aftershock of the major quake that rattled the area on April 4. This time no injuries or damage has been reported. In the April 4 earthquake two people lost their lives. Furthermore a damage of not less than $91 million was caused only in California.
President Obama has already signed a "federal disaster declaration" for the area concerned.
