TOKYO —
Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corp said Tuesday it will launch two models of a tourist bus emitting less toxic exhaust gas in September so it can meet new emissions regulations, while terminating the production of a less eco-friendly double-decker.
The buses Aero Queen and Aero Ace, to go on sale Sept 1, have a device that can remove materials such as nitrogen oxide from the exhaust gas before its release and a fuel-efficient engine, which was jointly developed by its German parent company Daimler AG, Mitsubishi Fuso said.
