Couples see stars at the Grand Hyatt

The Japanese Tanabata star festival is celebrated on the night of July 7. Based on a Chinese legend, the night is the only time of year when the star Vega, the weaver, and the star Altair, the herdsman (lovers separated by the Milky Way) can see each other.

Taking the motif of this legend, teppanyaki restaurant Keyakizaka at the Grand Hyatt Tokyo has prepared a special romantic tanabata course dinner for couples. The pair dinner course features romantic decorations and presentation, from white, sparkling junmai sake to appetizers arranged as if in a jewelry box, to a dish in the image of the weaver.

The course is available for ¥37,700 for two people, between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m., from July 3 to 7.

The Grand Hyatt Tokyo is located in Roppongi Hills, a three-minute walk from Roppongi Station. For details, call (03) 4333-8782.
