Study: Exercise, Tea and Vitamin D Reduces Risk of Brain Decline

As three new studies presented at a conference on Alzheimer´s disease suggest, an improved way of living and diet habits can influence brain decline. The Alzheimer´s Association assesses the results of the studies positively, calling them "encouraging".

One of the studies showed that people who exercise regularly have a 40 percent lower risk of developing dementia. Those who are less active were 45 percent more likely to develop the disease.

The second study found that tea drinkers also show less brain decline. Coffee, however, does not have any influence. The third study proves that a high level of vitamin D has a positive effect on brain health.
