The Royal Park Hotel in Nihonbashi, Tokyo, has prepared a special plan that offers guests the opportunity to experience traditional Japanese culture, combining a one-night stay at the hotel and a geisha entertainment and dinner event at a top Japanese restaurant on July 24.

The event will be held at the two-Michelin-star-rated Genyadana Hamadaya, an old, well-reputed restaurant in Nihonbashi. The district retains some of the traditional atmosphere of Tokyo's past, dotted with well-established shops and restaurants.
In the sukiya (traditional) room, guests will enjoy geisha dancing while partaking in Hamadaya's special shokado bento (traditional lacquer-boxed meal). In addition, guests can get to know geisha through ozashiki-asobi (games played at a banquet with geisha) and a photo session.
The plan also includes a breakfast featuring Japanese rice porridge using a number of distinguished Japanese ingredients provided by shops in Nihonbashi — such as 321-year-old fish-cake shop Kanmo and 310-year-old dried-bonito shop Ninben. Breakfast is served at the hotel's Japanese restaurant Genjikoh, which has a view of a beautiful Japanese garden.
The plan costs ¥52,000 per person for double occupancy and ¥48,000 per person for triple occupancy.

The Westin Tokyo's Japanese restaurant, Mai, offers a sushi dinner set to early diners at a special price of ¥8,000 through Aug. 30.
The dinner set includes the chef's selection of 12 pieces of sushi, made using fresh ingredients from Tsukiji Fish Market, and a glass of sake, draft beer or wine. Served at Mai's sushi counter, diners can also observe the chef's delicate and precise handwork.
The dinner set is available from 5:30 p.m. on weekdays (excluding Tuesdays, holidays and from Aug. 9-16), with the meal finishing by 7 p.m.

ANA InterContinental Tokyo's outdoor Garden Pool, located on the hotel's fourth floor, will operate from July 1 through Sept. 5.
Though situated amid the office buildings in the Akasaka area, the Garden Pool provides a relaxing urban oasis atmosphere with the surrounding trees and greenery of the rooftop garden.
There is a 20-meter by 13-meter pool, relatively large for one at a Tokyo hotel, and a small round pool for children. Visitors can relax on a deck chair at the spacious poolside area or at a table at the poolside snack bar, which offers food and drinks.
In the evening, when the lights of Tokyo Tower can be seen from the pool, the poolside and the interior of the pool will be lit up, creating a fantastic atmosphere.
Admission, including use of the locker room, a towel and beach sandal rental, is ¥6,000 per adult and ¥3,000 per child (ages 4-12) on weekdays, and ¥8,000 and ¥4,000, respectively, on weekends, holidays and between Aug. 7 and 15.
Admission will be 50 percent off on weekdays after 3 p.m. for those who wants to refresh after work.
