A few months ago, a company out of Japan released a gimmicky inhaler that they claimed could make you thinner.
Nobody knows for certain how ‘Calorie Breath’ works, but supposedly if you use it for five minutes everyday (which equates to approximately 30 inhales/exhales), your stomach will shrink from the strenuous workout regiment, thereby resulting in weight loss.
Sounds sketchy, aye? The packaging certainly doesn’t help. Featured on the outside is a rather lumpy woman currently on the ‘Calorie Breath’ weight-loss program. It appears that she hasn’t, or at least not yet, been all that successful in her endeavor.
Although there is no scientific evidence whatsoever to prove the company’s claim, the editors at CNET Asia have made a fascinating discovery based on simple deductive reasoning:
“Certainly, after huffing and puffing non-stop for 5 minutes, you’d want to chug down a gallon of H2O to wet your whistle. And having gulped down a bellyful of water, you’d be too stuffed to munch. Voila!”
Regardless of its credibility, the Calorie Breath weight-loss inhaler can be purchased online for only $3.68 a piece (5 minimum) at AliExpress. I prefer to stick with my jogging routine, but if you have extra cash lying around and feel awfully bored, then go ahead and give it a try! … but don’t hold your breath!
