Study: Video Games and TV Can Lead to Attention Problems for Kids

A new study by Iowa State University has found that children who spend two hours a day or more in front of a TV or gaming screen may have problems focusing in school.

Children who watched TV or played games for more than two hours were twice as likely to have attention problems. The American Academy of Pediatrics and the Canadian Pediatric Society recommend a screen time limit of one or two hours daily.

Both elementary school and college students were studied in the 13-month-long study.
