OSAKA —

Best Western International has opened its 12th property in Japan.

The 179-room Best Western Hotel Fino Osaka Shinsaibashi is located between two major airports and close to the Shinkansen bullet train terminal, in the heart of Osaka’s Nanba and Umeda business and shopping district and within walking distance of the popular shopping and dining area of Shinsaibashi and Nagahoribashi subway station. Kyoto and Nara are also only 30 minutes away.

Designed in contemporary style, the hotel’s well appointed guestrooms feature cable or satellite TV, in-room movies, comfortable working area, high-speed internet, refrigerator, coffee/tea maker and hairdryer. Hotel facilities include 24-hour front desk, restaurant, coffee shop and massage service.

“Japan is a truly unique destination with so much to offer. The country is famous for its energetic urban lifestyle, distinctive traditions and cultures, refined culinary experiences and exceptional public safety and infrastructure,” said Glenn de Souza, Best Western International’s Vice President of International Operations for Asia and the Middle East. “The addition of this hotel has positioned Best Western as the second largest international hotel company in the country. With Japan’s strategy to promote tourism internationally and the aim to increase tourist arrivals to 25 million by 2019, we are confident that, as the world’s largest hotel chain, Best Western will continue its aggressive expansion and play a significant role in boosting inbound tourism for the country.”
